Whitetail Hunts
We are working on adding a DIY option for the 2025-26 season. More details to come…
We offer fully guided whitetail hunts on 15,000+ acres of big buck territory in southern Ohio. This is private property that we own — not lease! With nearly 24 square miles of trophy-managed property in Pike, Adams, Ross, Scioto, and Highland county, we offer hardcore hunters a legitimate chance to harvest the buck of a lifetime. We are quality over quantity, but at any time you are hunting with us, a trophy whitetail could give you that opportunity of a lifetime. As of 2024, we have harvested a 222”, 209”, 200”, 198”, and numerous bucks between 160” and 185”.

Our 5 day hunts include 6 nights lodging, 4 day hunts include 5 nights lodging, and 2 day hunts include 3 nights lodging. Bedding, pillow, towels, and soap are not included. The beds are full-size.
Transportation:
Transportation to and from stand is included. You are also welcome to follow in your own vehicle if you prefer.
Stands:
We typically use Millennium and Hawk lock-ons with a 20’ stick ladder. We also have ladder stands and blinds available. All stands have lifelines. Stands are marked with flags for daylight and bright eyes/reflective tacks for dark. Our guides can take you to where the bright eyes start or they can take you to the base of the tree and help you get set up. We also encourage hunters to bring climbers or a saddle (if they have and are comfortable using) or a saddle. Some of the biggest deer we have killed has been out of climbers and also makes it easier to adjust if needed.
Other Amenities:
Deer recovery, field dressing, caping, quartering/deboning meat, and photography is also included. For an additional fee, our local processor can cut and package your meat.
140” Minimum:
There are no Trophy Fees, but we do have a 140" minimum with a $1,000.00 penalty fee. This isn't designed to be a money maker, but we want mature bucks taken and to allow our young bucks to grow to their full potential. Regardless of size, we want mature deer that are 4.5 years old or older harvested. The majority of the hunters we book are looking to take a buck that is 150” plus. As a hunter, you need to remember that a 130 inch, 2.5 year old buck will be 150/160” as a three year old and 170/180” or bigger as a four year old. Even more important than size is age – we want to harvest mature deer that are a minimum of 4.5 years old.
We have some deer that are mature that might not be 140" and those are legal deer to harvest -- maybe they are a 4.5 year old buck that doesn't have great genetics or maybe it's an old deer that has been a giant and has went downhill from age or sickness. For example, if a deer is 5.5 or 6.5 and isn’t 140” then that deer is allowed to be taken. What we don’t want, is a 2.5 or 3.5 year with super genetics killed before he becomes our next 200” buck.

More:
The maximum number of hunters we typically allow on our fully guided properties is 12.
We will not over hunt our properties and maintain sanctuary areas on each property where the deer can go and not feel pressured. We have early season set-ups focused on food and catching bucks in those summer feeding patterns. Then we switch to hunting acorns. Once the bucks are broken up and looking we start using our pre-rut areas and then once the rut picks up, we switch to our rut stands. After the rut, we transition back to hunting food sources and getting between bedding and food. The majority of our hunting is in the big woods focusing on travel corridors, pinch points, saddles, natural funnels, staging areas, and once again, between bedding and food.
Most hunts are 3 or 4 hunters per guide.
We do have a "Draw Blood" Policy in effect. If you draw blood on an animal then that is considered your deer and your hunt is over. Rest assured, every effort will be made to recover your
deer.
On our hunts, your guide does not sit with you in the stand. Your guide will decide where you hunt based on trailcam pics, scouting, and his knowledge of the area. Then he will transport you to and from our pre-hung stands. You will be in cell phone or radio contact with your guide.
Early season hunts and late season hunts are typically afternoon/evening hunts due to deer bedding close to food — or go in late morning and hunt the rest of the day. Some properties allow for morning sits during those times and others do not.
